Michel Jourdain and Visit Mexico Aboard the No. 32 for Mexico
“I’m so excited to be driving for Braun Racing in the Corona Mexico 200 in my hometown,” said Jourdain. “Autodromo Hermanos Rodriquez is one of my favorite tracks to race at. In the three previous Nationwide races, I’ve had some strong runs, leading laps and running in the top-10, but didn’t get the finishes to show for it. Braun Racing is a very competitive team and they are giving me a top-notch car for this race. Hopefully we can have better luck and get the finish we deserve for the people at Visit Mexico that will be watching and cheering us on. I really want to thank the tourism board and the secretary of Tourism of Durango for their support.”
“Michel has raced at the road course in Mexico City many times and knows it well,” says Braun. “You just can’t beat that type of experience. He will be able to work with Jason (Leffler) and help the teams to get both of our cars where they need to be for the race. We feel like we can contend for a win this year and we have the experience and the desire to accomplish that goal like never before.”
“Visit Mexico” is a tourism initiative of the Mexico Tourism Board. “Visit Durango” will adorn the hood of the No.32 Camry to promote tourism to the Mexican state of Durango.
