Quotes:
Jamie McMurray:
“Restrictor-plate racing is a lot of fun, if your car is fast. But the bad part about restrictor-plate racing is getting caught up in someone else’s mistake. I’ve had some bad luck at Talladega in the Busch Series and didn’t finish a couple of races because of wrecks. It’s disappointing and frustrating, but I’ve had a lot of success there in the Nextel Cup Series, with a few top-five finishes, so I know I can do well. I feel pretty confident going to Talladega this weekend with (Crew Chief) Newt (Moore) and the Brewco guys. Hopefully we’ll avoid the wrecks and finish the day with the Yard-Man Ford in the top-five.”

Quotes:
Crew Chief Newt Moore:
"We got caught up in someone else’s wreck at our first restrictor-plate race this year (Daytona) and didn’t really get a chance to show what we can do on these tracks. I know that our Yard-Man team is ready to rebound from Daytona, and carry the momentum from our sixth-place finish at Phoenix last weekend into Talladega Saturday and work toward a strong finish.”
