He has also led 5,156 laps and has accumulated over $9 million in earnings.

KEVIN HARVICK QUOTES:
Do you like restrictor plate racing? Is it more mental than physical?
“I have always really liked the bigger tracks. It’s way more mental than physical. You’re worn out by the end of the race. You spend a lot of time looking in the mirrors anticipating the other guy’s next move.”
Are you thankful that you are not running a full Busch schedule this year?
“I think so. The grind was actually really fun last year. It was relatively easy because we didn’t have any weather problems and everything was so well organized. The odds of doing that again are probably slim to none. I just need to not race on the off weeks so I can focus more on the Cup schedule and winning the championship.”
Why is it so much fun to race in the Busch Series?
“There is a lot of pressure on Sunday’s. In the Busch races you can just go out and race as hard as you can and go for the win week-in and week-out. It gives me the ability to just lay everything out there and race for the win. I don’t have to worry about points or anything like that.”
What are you thoughts on the NASCAR Busch Series?
“I like the Busch Series. It is where a lot of us got our start, it is where I got my first break with Richard and had some success. The Busch Series is and always will be a big part of my career.”
Do you think the Busch Series is still the developmental series?
“I think it is. I think it is a good place for young drivers to learn and start getting the respect from some of the veteran guys. I also think it is a good developmental place for the pit crews, crew chiefs and everyone else that is just starting out.”
