Eric McClure, driver of the No. 0 Hefty® Brand Chevrolet quotes:
(On his past experience at Talladega Superspeedway)
“Talladega is a great place to race and I enjoy plate racing a lot. Handling doesn’t matter, just line them up and go. You spend most of the day listening to the spotter, checking the mirror, watching in front of you and holding your breath.”

“We’re taking the same car we ran at Daytona, the one the #01 car ran last year. It’s not a good qualifier, but it’s a great racer, and was at Daytona until the carburetor problem. Hopefully we can have a good day.”

(On his thoughts about the “BIG ONE”)
“It’s always a crapshoot whether or not you are going to get collected because there’s always a “Big One;” sometimes a “Big Two or Three” in the Busch Series. It can take you out in a second, but it can also be your best friend for a good finish if you can make it through it. When it happens the only thing you can do really is just close your eyes, hold your breath, and pray.”
