WIX FILTERS LAP LEADER NOTES FOR THE O’REILLY CHALLENGE NASCAR BUSCH SERIES RACE AT TEXAS MOTOR SPEEDWAY, NOVEMBER 3, 2007.
Mike Wallace led once for one lap to earn WIX Filters Lap Leader of the Race honors in today’s O’Reilly Challenge. Wallace led for the first time since the Dover (race No. 29). He has led at 13 times in 13 races for a total of 33 laps.
Wallace extends his lead to two races (6-4) over Jason Leffler in the overall WIX Filters Lap Leader standings.
UNOFFICIALLY Wallace is 10th in the NASCAR Busch Series championship standings, 37 points behind ninth-place Marcos Ambrose and 52 ahead of 11th-place Matt Kenseth.
Wallace was credited with a 21st-place finish in today’s race.
