O’Reilly 300 - David Ragan Notes

David Ragan Advance
Texas Motor Speedway, Apr. 14-15
NASCAR Busch Series: O’Reilly 300
Saturday, Apr. 14 3:00 PM Eastern on ESPN2/PRN

David Ragan
Team: No. 6 Discount Tire Ford Fusion
Crew Chief: Mike Kelley
Chassis: RK-378 ran this year at Las Vegas Motor Speedway

Ragan on racing NBS at Texas Motor Speedway:
“This is a rebound weekend for The No. 6 Discount Tire team. We had a set back last week at Nashville, so we need a great finish just to climb back in the points. I know this team is extremely focused on bringing the best equipment possible to Texas. Our goal will continue to be top-10 finishes every week with a chance to win at the end of every race. Discount Tire has been a tremendous sponsor thus far and we would like to give them something special this weekend. The only place I want to be this weekend is Victory Lane”.

Crew Chief Mike Kelley on racing at Texas Motor Speedway:
“David has had some success at Texas in the Craftsman Truck series and one start in the Busch series. That experience goes along way on a half-mile track. I am excited to get to Texas because we are bringing a car that is set-up nicely for this track. We ran the Ford Fusion at Las Vegas earlier in the year and it is a fast race car. The Discount Tire team will not panic, but we all need to realize it is time to put it together from start to finish. That is the only way we are going to start winning races”.
