LEFFLER BRINGS A SEASON OF SHORT TRACK SUCCESS WITH HIM TO RICHMOND

  • Leffler has been extremely successful on tracks one mile and under this season- in the last six races at tracks that size dating back to Dover, Leffler has finished no worse than 12th with four top-five finishes, including one win at ORP. In those six races, he has started within the top-five on three occasions, one pole at Bristol.
  • In nine total NBS starts at Richmond, Leffler has started inside the top-10 four times, including one pole (May 2006). He has two top-five and four top-15 finishes with a total of 82 laps led.
  • Leffler finished 37th in his last trip to Richmond, but prior to that, he had three straight top-25 finishes and led laps in three consecutive Richmond races.
  • According to NASCAR Loop Data Stats at Richmond, Leffler has a solid Driver Rating of 90.8, an Average Running Position of 13.8, 33 Fastest Laps Run and 648 Laps in the top-15.
  • In his only NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series start at Richmond (2002), Leffler started from the pole and went on to finish 12th.

    EQUIPMENT INFORMATION:
    The Great Clips team will unload chassis # 36 in this weekend’s Emerson Radio 250. This is the same chassis Leffler drove to a fourth place finish last month at Gateway International Raceway.
