TIM MCCREADIE QUOTES:
The last time you competed in the No. 21 AutoZone Chevrolet, you posted your best finish of 12th. What are your expectations this weekend?
“I’ve never raced at Richmond so this will be another learning curve for me. Richmond is similar to other tracks I’ve raced on earlier this season so I’m hoping I can build on my 12th-place finish at ORP. RCR’s track record in the Busch Series proves that we can get the job done. I’m hoping to have a real clean race while gaining track experience at the same time. My goal is to leave Richmond with a top-10 finish for the AutoZone team.”
Does the night racing add to the excitement at Richmond?
“No matter where we go, racing under the lights adds to the excitement. It brings out a lot of unique characteristics and the cars look better. It seems like there are always exciting races at night. I think that it is going to be one of those Richmond races where it comes down to track position and who stays out of trouble and keeps their fenders on until the end of the race.”
