BRIAN VICKERS LOOKING FORWARD TO SHORT TRACK RACING UNDER THE LIGHTS AT RIR:
When Brian Vickers first took to the track in the No.10 Braun Racing Camry at Michigan International Speedway, he was quick to impress. Since that race, he has run into bad luck, getting caught up in late race accidents at both Bristol and California. This weekend Vickers is hoping some old fashion short track racing under the lights is just what the team needs to turn the luck around and bring home another strong finish.

Vickers, the 2003 NASCAR Busch Series Champion, has logged four Busch Series starts at Richmond International Raceway. He has one top-10 start and two top-10 finishes. He also has six Nextel Cup starts at the Richmond, Virginia .75-mile oval to his credit.

VICKERS ON RACING AT RICHMOND INTERNATIONAL RACEWAY:
“Richmond is another multi-groove track where you can run different lines. The Friday night races under the lights can often get interesting. We've gotten wrecked two weeks in a row, so I'm hoping the 10 team and I can catch a break and have a clean, strong run. We've shown this Braun Racing Toyota can lead races and I've enjoyed working with the team, so we'll have to discuss everyone's plans for the rest of the season."

EQUIPMENT INFORMATION:
The No. 10 Fan1st.com team will compete with chassis #21 in Friday night’s Emerson Radio 250. This is the same chassis Dave Blaney raced at New Hampshire International Speedway and Gateway International Raceway earlier this year. He finished 35th in both races due to electrical and handling factors respectively.
