The Emory and Henry College graduate has never competed on the ¾ mile racing surface, thus the No. 0 Hefty® brand Chevrolet must sport the “yellow” stripe across its bumper for the eleventh time this season.
McClure must qualify on time as the No. 0 machine is not locked into the top-30 in NASCAR Owners Points.
Johnny Davis Motorsports has only competed in one event at RIR with a start of 39th and a finish of 42nd after experiencing brake problems on lap 55.

Eric McClure, driver of the No. 0 Hefty® Chevrolet quotes:
“Richmond has been a tough place for us in the past. For some reason, we haven't qualified for a race yet. It's a great track and we sure want to make up for our effort in May and get in the show. A lot of great cars will be there so we'll work hard and see if we can't get the Hefty car in the show.”
