    SCOTT WIMMER QUOTES:
You haven’t raced at ORP since 2003 so what do you remember about the track?
“ORP is one of the greatest short tracks that we go to. I look forward to this track because it has two grooves of racing and it is always exciting. There is a lot of racing going on in Indy that weekend so I look forward to going there and continuing the success that we have had in the Holiday Inn Chevrolet.”

    How important will practice be?
“It will be important but it really won’t be as critical as most tracks. The practice is all during the day and we race at night. Practice is about getting a feel for the track and a feel for the car. Once the nighttime comes, then you can forget about everything that you did during the day as far as changes and setup. I guess that is what makes racing so exciting there because everyone is kind of guessing. You aren’t sure what your car is going to do during the nighttime racing. Everybody is kind of guessing and usually the guys that run well there are the ones that guess right.”

What do you enjoy about racing at ORP?
“I enjoy the two-wide racing at ORP. It isn’t an aerodynamic track or a high horsepower track. It is all about getting your car to handle right. This is the type of track that most racers grew up racing on. It is a perfect size track for me to race on and they have done a great job making sure that there are two grooves of racing. It seems like you can get your car hooked up on the bottom and run real strong down there. The guy on the outside can get a run off of the corners and makes it hard to pass. It is one of those two groove race tracks that we love going to.”
