Team Report
NASCAR Busch Series Race 15 of 35— Nashville (Tenn.) Superspeedway
DOVER 200 RACE RECAP: Tony Raines made big strides after a tough start to the 2007 NASCAR Busch Series season. Raines’ season best finish to date came at the Atlanta (Ga.) Motor Speedway where he took the checkered flag in the 23rd position. After qualifying on the outside of row 14 at the Monster Mile, Raines knew he had a good enough car to drive to the front of the field. When the green flag dropped, the No. 33 Camping World Chevrolet had some handling problems, but eventually crossed the start/finish line in the eighth position. With a season best finish by Raines, the No. 33 Kevin Harvick Inc. Chevrolet jumped one spot in the NASCAR Busch Series Owner’s point standings, moving into the sixth spot, just 106 points behind third place car owner Jack Roush.
WELCOME BACK CALE GALE: Cale Gale returns behind the wheel of the No. 33 Camping World Chevrolet and the Busch Series for the first time since April 7, 2007, which took place at Nashville (Tenn.) Superspeedway. He has two career NASCAR Busch Series starts at the D-shaped oval, finishing 27th (2007) and 20th (2006) respectively.
ROUND THREE IN NASHVILLE: When Cale Gale straps into the No. 33 Camping World Chevrolet this week, he will be making his third start this season at Nashville (Tenn.) Superspeedway. The Mobile, Ala. Native raced in both the NASCAR Busch Series and Automobile Racing Club of America (ARCA) this past April, where he sat on the pole and finished second in the ARCA 150 and 27th due to engine trouble in the Pepsi 300 event.
CALE’S TURN: Cale Gale, who is one of five drivers this year in the No. 33 Kevin Harvick Inc. (KHI) Chevrolet, will compete in the NASCAR Busch Series over the next three weeks. “It’s my turn to help our team out. I have been looking forward to these next couple of weeks for a long time,” said Gale. “My teammates in this car have done a great job keeping us inside the top-10 in points and hopefully I can keep it going.”
A TRUE TEAM PLAYER: If you look up the definition of a team player in a dictionary, you could very well see the face of Cale Gale. When Cale is not behind the wheel racing, you will find him building shocks, spotting or sitting atop the pit box helping out crew chief Dan Stillman.
THREE’S COMPANY: In 2007, Cale Gale will have the opportunity to drive in three different racing series for KHI. Gale will drive the No. 33 Camping World Chevrolet in the NASCAR Busch Series for seven events. He will also sit behind the wheel of the No. 2 Camping World Chevrolet in five NASCAR Truck Series races. Cale will also drive the No. 33 Chevrolet in four Automobile Racing Club of America (ARCA) races this season to give him a total of 16 events.
KHI CO-OWNER ON TRACKSIDE LIVE: Team co-owner Kevin Harvick will be a special guest on SPEED’s hit show Trackside Live this Friday at Pocono (Pa.) Raceway. Harvick will join Trackside hosts Steve Byrnes, Darrell Waltrip, Larry McReynolds and Jeff Hammond as they get you ready for the upcoming Pocono 400.

CALE GALE QUOTES:
ON YOUR LAST TRIP TO NASHVILLE SPEEDWAY: “It was a long day for me in Nashville since it was my first time driving in two races in one day. I won the pole in the ARCA race, before finishing second. The outcome of the Busch race was looking bright as I was running just outside the top-10 with 21 laps remaining when engine problems caused me to finish 27th. Dan and the guys have put a good car together for me and I look forward to next Saturday night.”
ON NASHVILLE SUPERSPEEDWAY: “The Nashville Superspeedway is a fun track and the layout makes for great racing with some good places for passing. I think this is a perfect track for some good hard racing, which is what the fans like to see.”
DAN STILLMAN QUOTES:
ON CALE GALE MAKING HIS SECOND START OF THE SEASON IN THE BUSCH SERIES: “Cale is a young kid who wants to race. The next couple of weeks are going to be a lot of fun. Last time we were in Nashville, Gale had a great run going before engine problems caused him to pull the car behind the wall. I have a good feeling about Cale over the next few weeks. We will do everything as a team to help Cale get his first win in the NASCAR Busch Series.”
DELANA HARVICK QUOTES:
ON CALE GALE SO FAR THIS YEAR: “Cale has been impressive both on and off the track this year. He has dedicated himself to making the most of his opportunity at KHI. I look forward to this stretch of the season when Cale gets to be behind the wheel for several consecutive weeks.”
