TIMOTHY PETERS QUOTES:
You were running sixth at Nashville earlier this year before getting caught up in an incident. What are your expectations for this weekend?
“We’re definitely going back and picking up where we left off. We are going to capitalize on how well the AutoZone team has been running so far this season. It was unfortunate we didn’t finish the race in March. However, it gave me a lot of confidence and momentum going into this race and I’m honored to be behind the wheel of the AutoZone Chevrolet this weekend.”
What are the differences racing on concrete and pavement and do you have a preference?
“I enjoy competing in races that are run on concrete. Nashville has been really good to me in the past when I competed in the Truck Series and I’m sure it will be the same with Busch Series car. I’m real partial to Bristol, Dover and Nashville but as long as I’m racing, I’ll compete on any type of race track.”
