BORIS SAID QUOTES:
“I really enjoy the opportunity to race these Busch Series events with Evernham Motorsports. We have had some success together on road courses but they also have some top notch equipment on these oval tracks and I like getting to drive them there too. This weekend the No. 9 team is going to have a whole new look with Stanley Tools on board and since I grew up in Connecticut (where Stanley was founded) I am especially proud to carry their colors. Last year at Nashville we had a really strong car but got caught up in a wreck early on. This weekend we are looking to make it to the end of the race without an incident so we can compete for a top finish.”

QUICK FACTS:

  • Said finished third in the No. 9 Hellmann’s Dodge at Mexico City in his most recent race for Evernham Motorsports.
  • Said had his only start at Nashville Superspeedway in 2006.
  • In 2006, Said competed in six Busch Series races where he compiled one top five and two top 10-finishes.
