SCOTT RIGGS QUOTES:
“I am looking forward to getting back behind the wheel of the Wisk Dodge at New Hampshire. We had some success in this race last year, finishing seventh. It was difficult weekend on the Cup side at Sonoma last week and the Busch race is just what we need to put that behind us. Shiplett and the guys have been hard at work preparing our Charger for this weekend. The performance has really been coming around for this Ultimate Chargers team. Chase (Miller) gained us some ground the past few weeks and we are ready to make a run at the top five in Owner’s Points.”
QUICK FACTS:
Scott Riggs has a pair of seventh-place finishes in the Busch race at New Hampshire, most recent coming in this race last year.
Riggs will be pulling double duty this weekend in the Busch and Cup Series.
Last week the Ultimate Chargers team started from the rear of the field in a backup car with no practice on it, yet drove up to the 17th-position and posted the career best Busch finish for their young driver Chase Miller.
The No. 9 team currently sits seventh in NASCAR Busch Series Owners Points.
