JASON LEFFLER AND GREAT CLIPS TEAM ON A ROLL AND GAINING GROUND IN THE POINT STANDINGS
In the last four weeks, Leffler has posted four consecutive top-15 finishes and two top-five’s and as a result has vaulted from 20th to 6th in the Busch Series point standings.
Leffler has four NASCAR Busch Series starts under his belt at New Hampshire International Speedway with one top-five finish. He started and finished third in 2004.
Leffler has one pole award to his credit at NHIS. In the 2002 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series event, Leffler started from the pole and led for 53 laps before an accident took him out of contention for the win.
LEFFLER ON RACING AT NEW HAMPSHIRE INTERNATIONAL SPEEDWAY:
“The last few weeks have been really good for the Great Clips team and we anticipate more of the same this weekend in New Hampshire, especially after having such a strong run in Milwaukee. We are taking that same car and look to see similar results - qualify up front, lead laps and be contender for the win in the final laps. We have made up some significant ground in the point standings over the last few weeks which has obviously given this team a boost of momentum, very important after some of our early season struggles.”
