Sam’s Town 250 - Chase Miller Notes

Chase Miller
No. 9 Dodge Dealers Dodge Charger Race Facts
Busch Series --- Memphis Motorsports Park

Driver: Chase Miller
Team Director: Mike Shiplett
Engineer: Mike Wolf
Team Owner: George Gillett
Ray Evernham

CHASE MILLER QUOTES:
“It’s been a great learning experience and the opportunity of a lifetime for me this season in the Busch Series. I’m thankful for both the seat time and the great team that Gillett Evernham Motorsports has surrounded me with. I have been watching Kasey [Kahne] run the Busch car the past couple weeks so I’m anxious to climb back in the seat. Memphis will be another challenge this weekend. It’s a track that I don’t have too much experience at but I know Mike [Shiplett] and the guys will prepare a good car. We’ll give it everything we have come race day and hopefully grab another strong finish for the Dodge Dealers Dodge Charger.”

QUICK FACTS:

  • In five Busch Series starts this season Miller has an impressive average starting spot of 15.6 along with an average finish of 17.6.
  • Miller narrowly missed the pole position in just his second career start in the Busch Series at Kentucky earlier this season.
  • This marks Miller’s sixth career Busch Series start in a Gillett Evernham Motorsports Dodge. He finished 16th at Dover in his most recent race.
