Brewco Motorsports enters its 12th season of competition in the NASCAR Busch Series in 2007.
Kimberly-Clark, the primary sponsor of Brewco’s No. 27 Ford Fusion, was founded in 1872 in Neenah, Wisconsin, and maintains a significant presence in the town. This season Kimberly-Clark begins its 14th year as a sponsor in the NASCAR Busch Series, making it the longest continual team primary sponsor in the Series. Kimberly-Clark has sponsored the No. 27 Brewco team since 2003.
Both of Brewco’s Busch Series entries will feature Kimberly-Clark products this weekend in Milwaukee, as the No. 37 Ford Fusion will be sponsored by Kleenex.
In the last race for the No. 27 Cottonelle Aloe & E Ford, Ward Burton finished in eighth place at Talladega Superspeedway in April, 2007.
This week’s Associate Sponsor is K-Mart. Kmart Holding Corporation (NASDAQ: KMRT) and its subsidiaries (together, “Kmart”) is a mass merchandising company that offers customers quality products through a portfolio of exclusive brands that include Thalia Sodi, Jaclyn Smith, Joe Boxer, Kathy Ireland, Martha Stewart Everyday, Route 66 and Sesame Street.
Jason Keller Notes
This weekend’s race will mark Keller’s 407 career start in the NASCAR Busch Series. The Series record for starts currently belongs to Tommy Houston (417).
Keller has 13 starts at Milwaukee, with seven top-10 finishes.
In his last six races at Milwaukee, Keller has five top-five finishes, including a win in 2003.
Keller previously drove the No. 27 Cottonelle Aloe & E Ford for Brewco and Kimberly-Clark at the April 7, 2007 NBS race at Nashville Superspeedway, finishing 33rd after a mid-race wreck took him out of contention.
Quotes from Jason Keller:
“When you go to a track that you've won at, you know you’ve done it before, so in the back of your mind, you know you can do it again. We’ll have a lot of guests and friends from our sponsor Kimberly-Clark in attendance for this race, so it would be really special to put the No. 27 Cottonelle Aloe & E Ford in Victory Lane, and celebrate with all of them Saturday night.”
