KASEY KAHNE QUOTES:
“Michigan is one fast race track. With the high level of rpm’s that we pull the whole way around the track it’s going to be very important to have a strong, durable engine. Gillett Evernham engines always give us great horsepower under the hood and this week I expect it will be no different.
“Michigan has a lot of grooves in the corners, so despite how your car is handling you can almost always find a line to make it go fast. It’s been a few races since I’ve been behind the wheel of the No. 9 Lawry’s Dodge Charger but I’m excited to go out there and try and get a strong finish for Lawry’s. Hopefully along the way we can learn some things that will transfer over to the Cup car come Sunday.”
