“I can’t wait to get back to Las Vegas with the Ultimate Chargers team. We were second fastest on the first day of NASCAR testing there in February, and had a good two days out there overall with the Hellmann’s Dodge. It was my first opportunity to work with Mike Shiplett in the team director role. The additional banking and new track surface have made things a lot faster. We won’t be able to use the exact setup we won the Busch race with last year. Instead we have dialed in on a new setup during the NASCAR test session that I am very confident in.”

Kasey Kahne is the defending race winner of the Sam’sTown 300 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway (LMS).
Kahne started tenth and led 52 laps en route to his Busch win at LVMS last season.
Kahne finished second in the Busch race at Las Vegas in 2004, his average overall Busch finish is 8.5 at the 1.5-mile speedway.
Last week the Ultimate Chargers team started seventh and finished third with Boris Said behind the Hellmann’s Dodge at the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez in Mexico City.
Kasey Kahne, Scott Riggs, Boris Said and Elliott Sadler will share duties in the No. 9 Ultimate Chargers Dodge in the Busch Series this season.
