    CLINT BOWYER QUOTES
For the first time, since you started racing in the Busch and NEXTEL Cup Series full time, you were able to take last weekend off. Are you going to enjoy running a limited Busch schedule?
“I don’t know yet. I struggled with it at California. That was the first time I’d been to a companion Busch and Cup weekend without my Busch car. I stood up on top of the suites on the front straightaway and watched the race with Richard (Childress) and I was kicking myself during the whole race for not running the full schedule but it will be nice to be able to do some different things. Time off is obviously beneficial. Sometimes a little break helps keep you focused so I think it will be good for me. It will also open the door for me to do some dirt racing and have a little more fun. Don’t get me wrong, I had a lot of fun and learned a lot last year but it was so busy that it was hard to enjoy the opportunity I had been given. This year, I’ll be able to do a lot of different things - like truck racing or dirt racing. What ever we want to do, we’ll have better chance to go out and do it.”

Do you think running a partial schedule helps the Busch team? Will they be a little more charged up when they get to the race track?
“It gives everyone a whole different outlook. We’re going to race for the win. We’re not looking for top fives or top 10s. We’re there to win, that’s it. That allows us to take some chances that a lot of other guys might not take – be it on the race track or in the pits. We’re going for broke every time we go out there with the BB&T Chevrolet.”
