Eric McClure, driver of the No. 0 Hefty® Brand Chevrolet quotes:
(On the birth of his new baby girl, Mabreigh Elizabeth McClure)
“You can’t really put into words what this means so I am not even going to try. Monday was definitely the greatest day of my life. She is the most beautiful, perfect thing and I am so blessed.”

(On preparation for Sam’s Town 300 and the newly resurfaced speedway)
“We struggled out in Vegas testing so we had to come back and think about how to cut the gap a little bit. The track itself is nice, but the tires were awful and I have had a hard time adapting to this particular tire. I really liked the old surface better; it was one of my better places. But, it is what it is and we are just going to go out there and run as well as we can and try to finish the race.”

    (On weekend off)
“I spent the whole time sick to be honest with you. From a physical standpoint it was horrible; I don’t think I have ever been so sick. However, we did spend the week preparing for the baby and our prayer was answered that she would arrive before I left for Vegas. Besides being sick, it has been a great week and I am really thankful I have a great family, a great race team, and a great sponsor in Hefty® that allowed me to focus on my family during this important time. I couldn’t have asked for a better situation.”
