“Racing at Charlotte under the lights is always a good time. Being this close to home the team has a lot of friends and family that come out to see the race. So there’s always a little added pressure to perform well in front of the home crowd.
“I’ve always enjoyed running at Charlotte, it’s a track the really suits my driving style. It has been a couple weeks since I’ve been behind the wheel of the No. 9 Please Share Dodge and we want to get a good, strong finish. One of our best runs this season was a seventh at Atlanta and it is a track that is very similar to Charlotte. We had a shot at winning that race and the team has been performing well enough that we’re going into this weekend shooting for an even better result.”
