JEFF BURTON QUOTES:
How do you feel about this year’s Busch Series race at Charlotte?
“I am really excited about the Busch race at Charlotte. We have been really competitive at these types of tracks this year. We tested there last week and I was fortunate enough to have Scott Wimmer help me out with the test. He has a lot of experience and can get it done. I am excited about Charlotte because that is the kind of track that we have been successful on.”
How do you feel about Cup Series drivers in the Busch Series?
“The Busch Series has changed so much. It used to be that Cup drivers drove for Busch teams but now it is Cup drivers driving for Cup teams. The Cup Series driver experience, along with the Cup Series owners’ experience, has made it difficult for Busch Series owners. It has been, and as long as history continues, it will continue to be a Cup dominated field.”
