Eric McClure competed in his first event at the Darlington Raceway where he started 41st and finished 40th after a late race accident ended his night.
Lowe’s Motor Speedway: “Rookie” Once Again
McClure is once again a “Rookie” this weekend as he has never competed in a NASCAR Busch Series event on the 1.5 mile racing surface at Lowe’s Motor Speedway.
The 28-year-old competed in the NEXTEL Open during the 2005 season for Bob Jenkins where he started 23rd and finished 24th
Johnny Davis Motorsports has competed in three events at LMS with a best start of 33rd (2006) and a best finish of 24th (2004)
CARQUEST Auto Parts Preparation
The Hefty® Team participated in a two-day test session last week at Lowe’s Motor Speedway, where they posted the 22nd fastest time on Tuesday afternoon.
The No. 0 Hefty® Chevrolet is not locked in to the valued top 30 in owner points, thus the Emory and Henry College graduate must qualify on time.
