Brad Coleman led three times for 36 laps to earn WIX Filters Lap Leader of the Race honors in tonight’s Meijer 300. In seven starts this season, Coleman has led four times for a total of 50 laps.
Coleman captured WIX Filters Lap Leader of the Race honors for the second time this season. He is the only Raybestos Rookie to earn the award more than once.
Three Raybestos® Rookies have captured WIX Filters Lap Leader of the Race honors in the Busch Series this season: Brad Coleman (Talladega, race No. 10 and Kentucky, race No. 16), Marcos Ambrose (Las Vegas, race No. 4) and Juan Pablo Montoya (Mexico City, race No. 3).
Coleman finished second in tonight’s race, 2.011 seconds behind race winner Stephen Leicht. Coleman scored his best finish in nine Busch Series starts and his first top-five.
Mike Wallace leads Jason Leffler by one race (4-3) in the overall WIX Filters Lap Leader Standings.
