Ragan on racing in the Busch Series at Kansas Speedway:
“I am very disappointed in our finish last weekend and I really want to bounce back strong this weekend at Kansas. I had a sixth place finish at Kansas in the trucks last year, so I am hoping I can build upon that success. The Discount Tire team has prepared an awesome race car for me to drive. I will be ready to drive hard and do whatever it takes to put us in position to contend at the end of the race. If we are patient and race within ourselves, everything else should fall into place.”
Crew Chief Mike Kelley on racing at Kansas Speedway:
“We are bringing the same car that ran at Texas, Nashville and Kentucky. We had top-10 finishes in all of those races. I feel we can still make a move in the point standings and maybe get that third spot by years end. The key for the Discount Tire team is to put Dover out of our minds and move forward. We have a great car and a driver hungry to make amends for last weekend. Our mile-and-a-half program has been extremely consistent this year and it will be no different at Kansas. A top-five finish sounds like a great way to right the ship and finish the year strong.”
