LFFFLER ON THE CLOSING OUT THE 2007 SEASON
“This season has been an interesting one to say the least. The first part of our year we struggled to finish a race, whether it was a matter of just being in the wrong place at the wrong time or of fault of our own. Going into the first Bristol race we had accumulated four DNF’s and were sitting 35th in the point standings. But we pulled together and worked hard and got things turned around. Giving Toyota their first NASCAR Busch Series victory was definitely the high point of our year and something that everyone at Braun Racing is very proud of. Fast forward to this weekend and the season finale at Homestead and we are sitting third in the points, which to me is pretty impressive given the way our season started. I am proud of this Great clips Racing team and of all that we have accomplished this season and as always, am already looking forward to Daytona in 2008.”
EQUIPMENT INFORMATION:
The Great Clips team will unload chassis #35 in this weekend’s Ford 300. This is the same chassis Leffler drove most recently in Kansas (21st), Charlotte (19th) and Texas (12th).
