Ragan on racing at Gateway International Raceway:
“I am ready to get to work at Gateway. I feel like this is a home track for me. I have a lot of family in the St. Louis area and I have run here once before, in the Busch series and twice in the Truck series. We actually sat on the pole here in the Truck race last year. I am very optimistic about my chances here this year. The Discount Tire team is well prepared for a good run this weekend. The key to this track is having a good motor that can carry you down the straightaway. We have a fast car that should run in the front all night. This race is huge for us because with a good finish we can make a major move in the point standings. I am ready to be in Victory Lane and Gateway is a great place to get that first win of the season.”

“We are extremely focused for this weekend. Our team has an opportunity to make a move in the point standings with a good finish. The difference between third and us is less than 100 points. We have a great setup for this race. You have to have good brakes at Gateway. I feel David is primed to win this race because of his experience at the track. He has seen it all here. When a driver is comfortable with a track they can do special things in a racecar. I am expecting to run in the front all night. This team has worked so hard this week and I think they should be rewarded. A win would be nice for the entire Discount Tire Family.”
