Kluever on racing at Gateway International Raceway:
“Gateway is a lot like New Hampshire so we’re taking the same car we raced there a few weeks ago. We finished 17th with it at Loudon, which is not what we wanted, but I think we can have a better run at Gateway. I had a decent run there last year so hopefully we can build on that this weekend. This team could really use a good finish right now after two weeks of DNF’s at Daytona and Chicago. Maybe we can gain some points back this week since there probably won’t be 26 Cup drivers in the field at Gateway.”
Eddie Pardue on racing at Gateway International Raceway:
“Todd ran 13th at Gateway last year so I believe we can improve on that this weekend. We’ve got RK-190, which is what we raced at Loudon. The set-up will be a bit different since the Gateway race is at night and Loudon was in the afternoon, but we know enough about this car to get it adjusted to the conditions.”
