LEFFLER ON DOVER INTERNATIONAL SPEEDWAY
“Dover is one of my favorite tracks on the circuit and one where I have found a good amount of success. I got my first Truck Series win here back in 2003 and have since had some strong runs in the Busch car as well. Last year, this team was solid at Dover in both events with a top-five the last time we were here. In the spring race one year ago we had another top-five run going until we got caught up in someone else’s mistake. If we can unload close to where we were last year and earn a good starting spot the Great Clips team should be in good shape this weekend.”
EQUIPMENT INFORMATION:
The Great Clips team will unload chassis # 23 for this weekend’s event. Leffler drove #23 to a 6th place finish two weeks ago in Darlington and to a season-high fourth place finish last month at Nashville Superspeedway. Last season, #23 ran at Michigan (13th), California (24th) and Kansas (31st – accident).
