How was your race today?
"It was a good day. We had a great car here in February and it was the same thing today. We got it handling better and better as the race went on. I have to thank everyone at Toyota for the engine. They are phenomenal at these plate races and it keeps us at the front. I wish we could've gotten to the front one time because I think it would've been over, but we couldn't quite get there. Kyle (Busch) was way fast and running a good line."

"Our race was fun. It's always fun here with this package. The car I have made it fun. I ran second behind Kevin (Harvick) here in February. It was just a good car. They made it better all day and the Toyota engine is pretty stout in this type of racing."

"When you're riding a good car, you really look like you know what you're doing out here. That's a lot of it. Perception is some of it, too. If you look like you have a good car, everybody goes with you a lot of times, and I did have a good car. Perception plays a part, but you do have to have a strong car that will handle good and run good. We do have that this year in the Busch Series with this package."

Could you have made it to the front?
"I would've needed a little more help from behind. Every time I got to the back of Kyle (Busch), I just didn't get the help I would need to get by him. I'm not even sure we could've passed him anyway, because he had a fast car today."

"I think we were all single file most of the time. I was a little bit stuck there because Clint (Bowyer) was behind me, and I pretty much knew where he was going to go if I left Kevin (Harvick). I was just a little stuck. If I could've gotten Kevin (Harvick) up alongside of the No. 5 (Kyle Busch) car, then maybe something could've happened."

Have you raced 650 miles in one day before?
"I don't think I've ever done that many miles in a day before, but it'll be alright. Obviously in lower series you maybe run a couple races in a day, but not this long. I just have to take a nice, cold shower and get ready for 400 more miles tonight."

9th, JASON LEFFLER, No. 38 Great Clips Toyota Camry, Braun Racing
How was your race today?
"It was eventful. We finished ninth -- that was good. We got through it fairly unscathed. It was pretty rough out there. My car handled really good on the bottom of the track -- and there were only three or four of us that could go down there. It was really killer on the long runs. We had that caution with about 20 laps to go and I knew we were going to have to fight it out. I didn't get the best run on that last caution, but I did get a good run -- but no one went with me. I don't think there were other cars were handling as good as mine was on the bottom of the track. I just got hung out there. I'm still happy with a top-10."

What was eventful about your day?
"I got caught up with (Juan Pablo) Montoya down through the tri-oval -- he just bump-drafted me right through there. And then on the back-straight, I got hung out in the middle and squeezed up into the No. 24 (Casey Mears) -- he gave and backed out or we would have just all piled up."

Is this the earliest you've raced?
"I've raced that early before, but it is pretty early."

With the banking here at Daytona did you see the No. 66 (Steven Wallace) spinning in front of you?
"I saw him starting to spin, and I knew that he was going to come to the bottom because of the way this place is with the banking. I had already committed to the bottom and I just couldn't get away from him."

How will the race this morning affect tonight's race?
"It's going to be dark tonight, so the track will be a little cooler. Right now it's pretty slick, but we shouldn't have been in the spot we were to begin with. When you run in the middle of the pack, you get caught up in stuff, and that's what happened."
