KASEY KAHNE QUOTES:
“I am looking forward to getting back behind the wheel of the Hellmann’s Dodge Charger this weekend. It has been a while since I drove the Busch car. We had a strong car at Daytona in the spring but we got taken out of the race early on in a wreck. Then we took the same car to Talladega and led some of that event before getting caught up in another wreck. I’m really proud of how our plate program at Evernham Motorsports has improved recently. Getting a good finish in this Busch race will mainly be about positioning. If you are out front you can avoid the carnage.”

QUICK FACTS:

  • Kahne has one win, one top-five and two top 10’s in eight Busch Series starts this year.
  • His best Busch Series finish at Daytona was fifth in 2005.
  • Kahne’s last Busch start came at Dover where he finished 12th in the Wisk Dodge Charger.
