Winn-Dixie 250 - Kerry Earnhardt Notes

Kerry Earnhardt Readies Daytona With Spraker Racing Enterprises

DAYTONA BEACH, Florida (July 5, 2007) - - When Kerry Earnhardt takes the green flag in Friday night’s Winn-Dixie 250 presented by PepsiCo, Earnhardt will reunite with longtime motorsports colleague Jeff Spraker of Spraker Racing Enterprises to tackle the 19th race on the 2007 NASCAR Busch Series (NBS) schedule.

The duo reunites hoping to find the same magic the group yielded in 2005 when Earnhardt roared to a fifth place finish at Talladega Superspeedway.

Earnhardt who will make his seventh start at the 2.5-mile superspeedway will drive the No. 63 Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS that was prepared out of Spraker’s Mooresville North Carolina based shop. The horsepower is being provided by Dale Earnhardt, Inc. (DEI).

With the two veterans uniting for one of the hottest events on the 2007 NASCAR Busch Series schedule, Earnhardt’s seventh top-10 of his career is within reach.

“I’m very excited to be back with Jeff Spraker and his team for the race on Friday,” said Earnhardt. “The last time we were together we had a great run and we’re looking to do the same again this time under the lights.”

Jeff Spraker has spent most of his 2007 season focused on tackling the highly competitive NASCAR Busch East Series (NBES) with Austrian handgun manufacturer GLOCK, Inc, who joins the team for Spraker’s first NBS effort this season.

Spraker offered, “It’s a real pleasure to work with Kerry Earnhardt this week in Daytona. He is a dedicated driver. He knows his way around this track, so a good finish is not of the question Friday night.”
