Eric McClure, driver of the No. 0 Hefty® Brand Chevrolet quotes:
On his expectations for this weekends Stater Bros. 300, after last weekend’s Orbtiz 300:
“I am really looking forward to California. It is one of my favorite places. The track is real wide and pretty racy. We need a good handling car and a lot of horsepower. Hopefully I will go out and have a good run. We want to learn some stuff that will help us later in the year and come home with the best finish we possibly can.”

On his past experience at California Speedway:
“I have a little bit of experience there in a Busch and Cup car. This will be the first time I have been in a non-speedway car, other than the Vegas test, since Charlotte in October 2006, so hopefully the little experience I have will help us off the truck.”

On the upcoming birth of his first child:
“I am really excited and extremely nervous at the same time. I am afraid I will get the call while I am in the car and won’t be able to make it back in time. So hopefully, Mabreigh will arrive while I am at home between California and Las Vegas since I am not driving in Mexico City. We have a lot going on that we are excited about. So we need to keep our focus on the racecar while we are out here in California because I hear diapers are expensive.”
