Eric McClure, driver of No. 0 Hefty® Chevrolet quotes:
(On Returning to his Home Town Track):
“I really don’t like Bristol that well, at least from a driving standpoint. It’s so much more fun to watch a race there than to race in one, at least for me. But it’s a home track for my family and a lot of friends and family members are coming. We’ve always seemed to run well there in practice and, if we can get in and race hard and survive, it may be just the shot in the arm we need to get the season turned around for us and for the Hefty® brand team. And it doesn’t hurt to get to spend the week at home, either. I have three good reasons to want to do that.”

(On his Unfortunate Past Luck at Bristol):
“It’s short track racing and when things happen at Bristol, they happen fast and you can’t hide. We’ve just gotten caught up in a couple of unfortunate situations with guys spinning in front of us on the first lap and then yielding to the leader and getting planted. Not much you can do about that. We’re just going to get in and go as hard as we can and see what happens. During my few starts in the series we’ve always tried to be respectful and give plenty of room when we weren’t that fast. We’ll still give room but we’re not going to stop and get out of the way. We’re due for something to go right.”
