"I am so excited to get to Atlanta. We had a rough weekend in Las Vegas but I am ready to put that behind us and focus on moving up in the points. This weekend is special for me because I am competing in front of a hometown crowd that has been supportive of me from the beginning of my career. I can assure you that the Discount Tire team has been working hard to bring the best car possible to Atlanta. The goal for the Discount Tire Ford Fusion is a win. Anything short of that will be disappointing".
Crew Chief Mike Kelley on racing at Atlanta Motor Speedway:
"We are looking to rebound from Las Vegas in a big way this weekend. We are taking the Ford Fusion that ran at Fontana this year with a few body updates on it. I think everyone on the Discount Tire team is excited about our chances on this track. David has some experience at Atlanta, so I am confident we can come out of this with a really good finish. It is time to get in the top-10 in the point standings and the only way we can do this is top-five and top-10 finishes. If we do what we are supposed to, good things will happen for the No. 6 Discount Tire Ford Fusion".
