CIRCUIT: NASCAR BUSCH SERIES (RACE FIVE OF 35)
EVENT: SATURDAY, MARCH 17, 2007 (195 LAPS, 300 MILES)
BUSCH GOES WILD: The SeaWorld & Busch Gardens Conservation Fund will be showcased on Kyle Busch's No. 5 Busch Series Chevrolet this weekend. Featuring various endangered wildlife, the car demonstrates the fund's commitment to species research, animal rescue and rehabilitation, and conservation education. The Fund will bring several of its animal friends, including a bald eagle, two penguins and a kangaroo, to the Atlanta Motor Speedway infield media center at 11:30 a.m. Friday morning.
THE MAKERS OF GARDEN SAFEŽ GIVE GREEN: The makers of Garden Safe, the official lawn and garden partner of Busch Gardens, will donate $100 to the SeaWorld & Busch Gardens Conservation Fund for every lap that Busch completes on the lead lap in Saturday's Busch Series race. If Busch wins the race, the donation will be doubled to $39,000.
LOWE'S GOES ORGANIC: The makers of Garden Safe brand products will also donate 50 cents to the SeaWorld & Busch Gardens Conservation Fund for every Garden Safe product sold at a Lowe's location nationwide from March 15 through April 30 in conjunction with the debut of a section at Lowe's stores dedicated to organic and alternative products.
POLE SITTER: Busch earned the Busch Series pole position at Atlanta Motor Speedway in March of last season. The pole was Busch's third top-10 qualifying effort in three Busch Series starts at the 1.54-mile track.
RUNNER-UP: Busch came in second in the 2004 Busch Series race at Atlanta Motor Speedway, crossing the finish line just .12 seconds behind winner Matt Kenseth.
INTERMEDIATE CAR: Crew chief Mike Bumgarner has selected Hendrick Motorsports Chassis No. 356 for Saturday's Busch Series race at Atlanta. It is the same car that finished third at California Speedway last month.

KYLE BUSCH, DRIVER OF THE NO. 5 GARDEN SAFE/SEAWORLD & BUSCH GARDENS CONSERVATION FUND CHEVROLET: (ON HIS PUBLIC APPEARANCES WITH ENDANGERED SPECIES.) "Earlier this year, the makers of Garden Safe products and I did an announcement in Daytona with a bald eagle and an alligator. No one is really allowed to touch the bald eagle, but I held the alligator for some pictures. It was a small one, so I can't brag much. I'm no Crocodile Hunter, but it had its mouth open the whole time like it was just waiting. I had a lot of fun with it and I'm looking forward to learning more about some of the other animals, like the otters and penguins, this week."
BUSCH: (ON USING HIS RACING CAREER TO GIVE BACK TO THE COMMUNITY.) "I'm definitely an animal lover. I don't go too many places without Kelley and Suzy, my two West Highland Terriers. When I found out what the makers of Garden Safe products were doing with the Fund I was pretty excited about it. Garden Safe products include a natural and organic lawn care line, which is something that Lowe's is getting really involved in. The three of them, Garden Safe products, Lowe's and the Conservation Fund, are all working together to promote a better environment. I'm lucky that they've included me and the whole No. 5 team in that. It's something we can all be proud of."
BUSCH: (YOU'VE DOMINATED EVERY BUSCH SERIES RACE YOU'VE BEEN IN THIS YEAR, BUT YOU'RE STILL CHASING THAT ELUSIVE WIN. WILL ATLANTA BE THE TRACK FOR YOU AND YOUR TEAM?) "I hope so. We had the fuel pump issue in Daytona, finished third in California and spun at the finish line in Vegas. Combined, we've led 154 laps, which I believe is more than any other team. We just haven't led that lap that counts, I guess. We've been good at Atlanta in the past. I finished second there in 2004 and we had a great car last year but had a tire issue early on. If we can go to Atlanta and run like we have been at every other track this year, I think that it would be fair to say that we definitely have a shot at the win."
