Eric McClure, driver of the No. 0 Hefty® Brand Chevrolet quotes:
(On last weekend’s finish and effort by the Hefty® Racing Team)
The finish last week was decent, but our performance was not. We need to get the Hefty® Brand car running better, whether it’s me giving better feedback or doing something differently, or whatever it takes. Our guys are awesome and very hard workers. It seems we always have some issues with practice, and it forces the guys to scramble, and puts us behind, but we’ll get it. Johnny and his team have proved in the past they can qualify for races and run competitively and I’ve been able to do it in the past as well. It may take some time, but we’ll get better. In the meantime, we need to make races and try to finish them.”

(On his debut at Atlanta Motor Speedway)
I’ve never competed at Atlanta, but it’s a very fast track, which I like. It will be interesting for sure, as the race pace slows down and everyone runs different lines, but hopefully I can adapt pretty quickly to get the Hefty car closer to those guys. We have Morgan Shepherd running a car this week to help us get some things figured out with the cars we have. He gets around Atlanta very well and is very experienced; a lot more than I am, so I am confident he can help us as we go to some of these tracks and help me get acclimated to these new places.”
