“This is the first race of my season with Fitz Motorsports and with Family Dollar as the primary sponsor. We’ve had success here in each of the first two races, leading laps and running consistently in the top-five and top-ten, but we haven’t come away with the win. Paul Wolfe, my crew chief, and all the guys at the shop have worked very hard and Family Dollar has supported us 110%, so I can’t imagine anything better than to win this race for them in front of my hometown fans. They say third time’s the charm, so you never know!”

“I feel like this is the best car we’ve taken to Mexico for Carlos to drive. I look forward to seeing what he can do in it. He’s very experienced at his hometown track, so I have nothing but excitement as we return with him behind the wheel. Car History: Car 25. It was last steered by Ruben Pardo in 2006 at Limerock Park in Lakeville, Connecticut. Pardo and team took the checkered flag in first place, giving their team its first win of the season.

New at Fitz Motorsports: New team name for 2007, Fitz Motorsports. New car number, changed from the #12 to the new number, #22.
