PREVIEW: KYLE BUSCH (NO. 5 LOWE'S/STA-GREEN CHEVROLET)
VENUE: TEXAS MOTOR SPEEDWAY (1.5-MILE TRI-OVAL)
CIRCUIT: NASCAR BUSCH SERIES (RACE 33 OF 35)
EVENT: SATURDAY, NOV. 4, 2006 (200 LAPS, 300 MILES)
BUSCH IS BACK: Kyle Busch will return to the wheel of the No. 5 Lowe's/Sta-Green Chevrolet on Saturday at Texas Motor Speedway after missing last weekend's NASCAR Busch Series event at Memphis (Tenn.) Motorsports Park. Busch has earned seven straight top-15 finishes in Busch Series competition.
TEXAS STAR: Busch has competed in three Busch Series races at Texas Motor Speedway, earning top-five finishes in all of them. Earlier this year, Busch overcame a 33rd-place starting position to finish fourth.
STELLAR DEBUT: Busch earned the second pole position of his Busch Series career in his April 2004 debut at Texas Motor Speedway. He led a race-high 147 laps before finishing second that weekend.
STRONG AT SPEEDWAYS: Venues similar to Texas Motor Speedway have proven to be one of Busch's strengths in the Busch Series. Three of his seven career victories have come at intermediate race tracks, along with six pole positions, 25 top-10 finishes and more than 900 laps led.
LOCAL CAR CHIEF: Jeffrey "Tex" Reeves, the car chief on the No. 5 Lowe's/Sta-Green Chevrolet, grew up in Fort Worth, Texas, where he attended Plainview High School. He graduated from Angelo State University before moving to North Carolina in 1998.
CHASSIS 318: Crew chief Chad Walter has selected Hendrick Motorsports Chassis No. 318 as the primary option for Saturday's Busch Series event at Texas. The car finished third at Kansas Speedway in September.

KYLE BUSCH, DRIVER OF THE NO. 5 LOWE'S/STA-GREEN CHEVROLET: (ON RUNNING THE BUSCH SERIES AT TEXAS MOTOR SPEEDWAY.) "I don't know what it is, but we always seem to do well in the Lowe's Chevy at Texas. We've had no luck whatsoever in the Cup car, but the Busch side is the opposite. We just seem to make it work somehow. We've taken a few risks, used some pit strategy and it all works out for us. We've had three straight top-five finishes and we're looking for a fourth this Saturday."

CHAD WALTER, CREW CHIEF OF THE NO. 5 LOWE'S/STA-GREEN CHEVROLET: (ON TEXAS MOTOR SPEEDWAY.) "I love this race track. It's all about speed at Texas. This is the type of track that truly separates the men from the boys. It's an incredibly intimidating race track and I'm lucky to have a driver that's not intimidated by anything."
WALTER: (ON HIS EXPERIENCE AT TEXAS MOTOR SPEEDWAY.) "Looking back, I've been fortunate to experience a lot of success at TMS. The first time I went to the speedway I was working with Terry Labonte. Of course, going to Texas with him was an experience in itself. We went back in 1999 and won. With Kyle, we've bounced back from an engine failure in practice to finish fifth and then a horrible starting spot to finish fourth. So it's not a bad place for me personally."
WALTER: (ON TERRY LABONTE.) "Terry is a true gentleman in every sense of the word. I've seen many times when he could have really thrashed on some people, but he never did. I've spent a lot of time with him since I started working in NASCAR. Back in 1994, I worked in his and Bobby's (Labonte) NASCAR Busch Series shop. I got my first Cup win working as his shock engineer at Talladega (Ala.) back in 1997. I also got my first pole with him at Richmond (Va.) that same year. I truly respect him, in both his ability and his demeanor. He has a way of making you want to do your best for him. It's incredible. To this day, if Terry asked me to do something I would jump at the chance. He's just that great of a guy."
