O'Reilly Challenge - Carl Edwards Notes

Carl Edwards
Texas Motor Speedway
1.5-mile oval located in Fort Worth, Tex.
NBS: O'Reilly Challenge

Carl Edwards
Team: No.60 Ameriquest Ford Fusion
Crew Chief: Pierre Kuettel
Chassis: RK- 377 Last ran Kansas – finished 6th

Edwards on racing at Texas Motor Speedway:
“Our last visit to Texas in spring was very disappointing. We had a very fast car, but wrecked during qualifying and experienced engine problems as we were darting toward the front in our backup car. We finished dead last, but this time will be different. We’ve lost a few heartbreakers the past few weeks and it’s time to shake it off and win!”

Crew Chief Pierre Kuettel on racing at Texas Motor Speedway:
“We are coming off a couple tough losses at Charlotte and Memphis, but we have been very strong. Texas is a great track for Carl. It’s very fast and similar to Atlanta. We had a rough time on our last visit to Texas, but our cars were very fast. Our Ameriquest Ford Fusion will be very fast and we will be up front fighting for the lead at the end.”
