2. Biagi DenBeste Racing Raised Some Quick Cash for the 9Lives® Morris’ Million Cat Rescue Campaign:
Biagi DenBeste Racing hosted an auction on eBay to help raise money to support the 9Lives® Morris’ Million Cat Rescue Campaign. Up for bid was the race-used hood off the No. 4 9Lives® Morris’ Million Cat Rescue Dodge that was raced in the Dollar General 300 NASCAR Busch Series race at Lowe’s Motor Speedway on Friday night, October 13th. The hood sold for $232 and all proceeds will be donated to the 9Lives® Morris’ Million Cat Rescue Campaign, 9Lives® campaign to help rescue one million homeless cats. 3. Auggie to Appear for Peterbilt in Denton, Texas:
Auggie Vidovich, along with transporter drivers Timmy Rogers and Brent Terry, will make an appearance at the Peterbilt plant in Denton, Texas on Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. The group of three will be on hand to meet-and-greet with plant employees and sign autographs for fans. AUGGIE VIDOVICH MATCHES SEASON-BEST FINISH OF 15TH AT MEMPHIS:
Auggie Vidovich, driver of the No. 4 GEICO Dodge, left Memphis Motorsports Park on Saturday without singing the blues after finishing a strong 15th in his first NASCAR Busch Series race at the .75-mile oval. Vidovich’s finish matched his season-best run, which came at the Milwaukee Mile in June. Vidovich and the Biagi DenBeste team came back from a lap down at one point in the event to claim arguably their gutsiest finish of the year. “The crew really kept us in it. The pit stops were fast and the calls and adjustments really helped the car get better. Since Kansas, we have really started to run strong and this team is setting itself up for a great 2007 season,” said Vidovich.
