NOTES & QUOTES
Kluever is currently 16th in the Busch Series point standings, and third in the Raybestos Rookie points.
The No. 06 team will be taking chassis #RK-349 to ORP. This is the same car that finished 13th in its last run at New Hampshire.
This will be Kluever’s second NASCAR start at ORP. He finished second in last year’s Craftsman Truck Series race and nearly claimed his first victory.
Todd Kluever on ORP:
“This is one of the races I’ve been looking forward to all year. I love racing at ORP and nearly won my first Craftsman truck race there last year. I had a run going on Dennis Setzer with only a few laps to go and just before I got around him the caution came out. I think I used up my tires trying to get around him the first time so I didn’t have anything left for him on the restart and finished second.
“The 3M Ford Fusion we are taking ran decent at New Hampshire, but I think we can make it a lot better for ORP. That is just a really cool track and a fun place to race in any type of race car. I enjoyed racing the truck there, and I bet the Busch car will be even better.”
Crew Chief Mike Kelley on racing at O’Reilly Raceway Park:
“Todd is excited about going back to ORP and that has the whole team pumped up for this weekend. We’re taking RK-349 which is the same car that finished 13th at New Hampshire a few weeks ago. We’ve had some good runs with that car and expect to have our best one this weekend.”
