NOTES & QUOTES

  • Kluever is currently 18th in the Busch Series point standings. He has gained five positions in the last two weeks.
  • The No. 06 team will be taking chassis #RK-349 to Nashville. This car was last raced at Richmond.
  • Kluever has two prior starts at Nashville. One in last year's Craftsman Truck Series race and the other in the Busch Series race in April.
  • Kluever has been the Raybestos Rookie of the Race for the last two consecutive races.

    Todd Kluever on Nashville:
"We were pretty good at Nashville back in April so I'm really excited to go back this weekend. We were running in the top 10 when we got caught up in an accident with a lapped car. I bet we could have finished in the top five if we could have stayed out of trouble. We've learned so much more since the last time we raced there that I have to believe our 3M Ford Fusion is going to be extremely competitive this weekend. We've got a lot to build on and we're learning.

"Even though we finished 18th at Dover last weekend, I am still really pleased with how our team has come together. We might stumble a couple of times but we're going to figure it out and we're going to be really stellar by the end of the season. We've gained five spots in the points in the last two weeks. I feel confident we'll be in the top 10 before it's all said and done."

Crew Chief Mike Kelley on racing at Nashville Superspeedway:
“Todd had a great run going at Nashville in the spring before a lapped car spun in front of him. With what we’ve learned since then I expect him to run even better this time. We’ve got a good car for this weekend that ran in the top 10 at Richmond for the first half of the race. Contact with the wall tightened it up too much later in the race. “Hopefully Todd can earn his third consecutive rookie award and we can keep moving up in the points.”
