Notes:
The No. 27 Ford Fusion will be sponsored by Federated Auto Parts this week.
Brewco Motorsports begins its 11th year competing in the NASCAR Busch Series. Brewco is coming off its most solid performance in the series, having placed two cars (No. 27 and No. 66) in the top-ten in points (eighth and tenth respectively) in 2005.
Last year in the fall race at Nashville, the No. 27 Brewco car started 13th and finished in 33rd place.
In seven starts at Nashville, Green has one win, two top-five, and three top-10 finishes. His win came in the spring race in 2003, where he qualified in eighth place.

Looking Back:
To recognize the history of the NASCAR Busch Series, which is celebrating its 25th anniversary in 2006, each week we’ll take a look back into David Green’s 16-year racing history, as it relates to this week’s track:
For his 2003 victory at Nashville Superspeedway, Green needed a last lap pass of Johnny Sauter. After passing Ashton Lewis Jr. for second place with two laps to go, Green set his sights on leader Sauter by going side-by-side coming off turn two and finished the winning pass down the back stretch. It was the second time Green won a Busch Series race in Nashville. His first win came in March of 1995, when the Busch Series raced at the Fairgrounds Speedway.
David Green on Nashville:
The night race at Nashville is always one of the most exciting we run all year. (Co-Crew Chief) Stewart (Cooper) and my team have shown over the past few years that we know how to run up front and how to get to victory lane in Music City! After a very disappointing finish at Nashville in April this year, we are more determined and better prepared for this weekend's battle. We have more data on the 2006 Goodyear tires and we have found some things in our chassis that I know will give us the extra grip we need to get to victory lane.
Over the past month, I feel like my team and I have grown stronger, performing better and better each week. We have continued to dig ourselves out of the hole we got in at the beginning of the season and it has shown each week. We’re moving steadily up in both owner and driver points.
It’s also very cool to have Federated Auto Parts on our No. 27 Ford Fusion this week. With them as the title sponsor of the race this weekend as well, we are determined and ready to drive our Federated Auto Parts Ford into victory lane and get another cool guitar!
The night race shows us a little bit of a different track than in the spring. It’s a lot warmer and there is a little less grip, so we'll have that challenge facing us. It takes a car that cuts well through the center on both ends - especially in turns three and four - to have a shot at victory in Nashville. Good pit strategy, good exit speeds and good brakes also help.
