Federated Auto Parts 300 - Boris Said Notes

Boris Said Ingersoll Rand Dodge Charger Fast Facts
Nashville Superspeedway

Driver: Boris Said
Team Director: Trip Bruce
Car Director: Todd Devnich
Engineer: Mike Wolf
Team Owner: Ray Evernham
Sponsors: Ingersoll Rand

Chassis No. B24- This is the same chassis Jeremy Mayfield drove in California earlier this season. Kasey Kahne also drove it at Texas and Homestead in 2005.

BORIS SAID QUOTES:
“I am thankful for this opportunity to have some additional races behind the wheel of the No. 9 Dodge Charger in the Busch Series. We got off to a great start in Mexico City and I think if it weren’t for a wrapper on our grill late in the race that we could have won that event. Because Ray (Evernham) believes in my abilities not only on a road course but on ovals as well, we have been able to partner with strong companies like Hellman’s and Ingersoll Rand at these events. One of my personal goals is to visit victory lane in the Busch Series and I believe that working with proven winners like Team Director Trip Bruce and his No. 9 team is exactly what I need to achieve that.”

TRIP BRUCE QUOTES:
“Boris was very laid back when we worked together the first time, which made it easier to get things moving faster. He is an excellent race car driver and gives great driver feedback. Our goal is to give Boris a good-balanced, well-prepared, race car so he can have a solid performance and finish.”
