    Nashville Fast Fact:
    Last season Reed Sorenson won his first NASCAR Busch Series race at Nashville (3/05) in his 11th start. He also won his first NBS pole at the same event. Sorenson is the only driver to win a Nashville race from the first place starting position (nine races).

    Last season Clint Bowyer won his first NASCAR Busch Series race at Nashville (6/05) in his 32nd start.

    2006 Busch Series Points Race:

    1st place Kevin Harvick finished eighth at Texas. He was second at Bristol and 11th at Atlanta, his only 2006 finish outside the top 10. He has four top fives and six top 10s. Average 2006 finish, 5.7 vs. 1.8 (five races) in 2005. He won the pole and finished seventh in the 4/01 inaugural Nashville race, his only NBS event at the track.

    2nd place (-146) Denny Hamlin won the pole and finished 10th at Texas, gaining a position in the standings. He finished fourth at Bristol and gained two positions in the standings. Hamlin was 38th at Atlanta, his first 2006 finish outside the top 20. He has one win (Mexico), one pole (Texas), two top fives and five top 10s. Average 2006 finish, 11.8 vs. 16.0 in 2005. Hamlin finished in the top 10 in both 2005 Nashville races: ninth in the first race and seventh in the second.

    3rd place (-199) Clint Bowyer finished 18th at Texas. He was 12th at Bristol and 14th at Atlanta. He has not had a top 10 in three races. Bowyer has one top five and two top 10s. Average 2006 finish, 12.5 vs. 10.1 in 2005. He has finished in the top five in all four of his Nashville races. Bowyer won the fall Nashville race.

    4th place (-231) J.J. Yeley finished 42nd (accident) at Texas, his worst finish of 2006, and dropped two positions in the standings. He was 29th at Bristol and eighth at Atlanta. He has one pole (Daytona), two top fives and five top 10s. Average 2006 finish, 14.7 vs. 28.0 in 2005. He has two top 10s in four Nashville races; he finished 38th in the first Nashville race of 2005, eighth in the second.

    5th place (-250) Greg Biffle finished second at Texas. In his six 2006 starts, Biffle has one win, four top fives and four top 10s. Average 2006 finish, 11.5 (six races) vs. 13.8 (five races) in 2005.
