    TIMOTHY PETERS’ QUOTES:
Is driving for Richard Childress Racing a dream come true for you?
“Driving for Richard Childress is a dream come true for any driver. I am just excited about going to the track with such an elite team like RCR. I am especially excited about going to a short-track like Memphis because RCR seems to have one of the best short-track programs in the business. It is such a great feeling going to the track knowing you have the best equipment in the garage.”

There are three different drivers with three different driving styles at RCR. What do you think you will learn from them?
“I hope to learn as much as I can from Kevin, Jeff and Clint. I plan to be a sponge and soak in everything I can from them. With these three respected drivers in my corner, I think I can develop my skills and become a complete racecar driver.”

How would you define a successful NASCAR Busch Series debut?
“I would love to bring home a win or a top five. However, if we come back with all the fenders on the racecar and a decent finish, I would consider that a success day as well. I just want to stay out of trouble and learn as much as I can from my crew chief Pat Smith and my team.”

You and Harvick will be splitting seat time in the No. 21 next year. How will driving alongside of Harvick help you with your career?
“It is definitely going to make me a better driver. I can’t even begin to describe what I plan to learn next season. There is just so much I think I can learn from Kevin. I plan to learn as much as I can each and every day, and to have one of the best drivers in the sport to learn from really excites me. I couldn’t have dreamed up a better situation for me right now. I just plan to race as much as I can and just continue to get better and gain as much experience as possible.”

You have raced at Memphis twice in the Craftsman Truck Series. Is it a track that you enjoy?
“I really enjoy racing at Memphis. It reminds of some of the local Saturday night shows around North Carolina where I ran my Late Model stock car. I ran good at Memphis in the trucks the past two seasons; I just hope we can have the same results in the Busch car.”
