NOTES & QUOTES
Kluever is currently 17th in the Busch Series point standings. He has gained six positions in the last four weeks.
The No. 06 team will be taking chassis #RK-190 to Milwaukee. This is the same car Mark Martin raced in Phoenix and finished fifth.
Kluever has one prior start at Milwaukee in last year's Craftsman Truck Series race with a top-10 finish. He also competed in an ASA race in 2004 and two MARS late model races prior to joining Roush Racing.
Kluever considers Milwaukee his home track since he grew up in nearby Sun Prairie, Wisc. (located near Madison).
Todd Kluever on Milwaukee:
"I've been looking forward to running at Milwaukee all season. Although the track itself does not suit my driving style because it is so flat, I consider it my home track because it's as close as we come to Madison. It always makes it more special to race there because so many of my family and friends can come out to support the team. 3M has even worked out a deal with my brother so that customers from our tavern can be part of 3M's hospitality tent at the track. It's going to be a fun weekend.
"We're taking the same Ford Fusion Mark Martin drove to a top-five finish at Phoenix so I think we should have a good car. We had a good race at Milwaukee last year in the truck with a top-10 finish so I hope to have another strong run this year in the Busch car."
Mike Kelley on racing at the Milwaukee Mile:
“We really want to have a good run this weekend at Milwaukee, not just to keep moving up in the points, but also because it’s Todd’s home track. He’ll have a lot of fans in the grandstands and we want to put on a good show for them. I think we’ll have a great car considering how well it ran for Mark (Martin) at Phoenix earlier this year.”
